    This upgrade safety bearing is made from UNS 52100 bearing steel, it's harder and smoother than the factory bearing and works smoother, especially with a custom metal safety, than factory Crosman/Benjamin bearings which often have defects in shape and surface imperfections. The spring is stainless steel.
