H, 2nd Regiment Texas Volunteer Infantry, Army of C.S. George W.L. Fly served in Co. J. of the 2nd Texas Infantry. He was a lawyer in Victoria, Texas. He was born June 2, 1835 and died January 27, 1905. The 2nd Texas Infantry fought at the Battle of Shiloh and the Second Battle of Corinth where they lost Colonel Rogers at the Battery Robinett.
