    Description

    This is the original edition, published by Right Worthy Grand Lodge, Independent Order Good Templars; Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  An internet search shows the publication date to be 1878 or 1880. No date is given in the text. I believe this was a private publication for lodge members. Most other editions out there are recent print on demand (POD) reprints. Book is in very good/good shape. Smaller book, measuring 7 1/2 x 5 x 3/4. 198 pages.  Boards are straight, spine is strong. Covers are in very good shape with minor fading and some soiling. Title on spine is a tad bit faded. Upper and lower spine area is  rubbed and bending inward. Corners are bumped and rubbed. Upper right corner is bent. Pages are clean. Inside front (blank) cover page has broken away from the spine area at the bottom left corner and there is a chip to the upper right corner. Pages are in very good shape. No writing, marking, or inscriptions. Foxing has started and is mild to moderate.
