This Crosman transfer port is

UNRESTRICTED, so no worries there.
I see some call it a tube connector, but it is the metal transfer port that IS between the tube and the barrel to channel the CO2 from the valve to the barrel.
I'd consider this an emergency item.
You will rarely need one, but when you do it will likely not be available locally or fast.
