Description:
This is a response to the raspberry pie design of dedicated HIFI DAC expansion board,using TI's high-end DAC chip (PCM5102A), use I2S interface, non USB interface;
the user can match the audio playback system (such as: volumio, Xbmc system) to build their own network HIFI player after use the expansion;
Expansion board provides 2 kinds of output interface convenient external amplifiers and other equipment. With ityou can get rid of PC power, turn off the slow, power supply noise, trouble.
Function introduction:
1 DAC ship use BB company (now acquired by TI) high-end PCM5102A chip ,adopting I2S interface; supports 16 to 32 bit audio data format; distortion and dynamic is very ideal, support the tall sampling rate of 384kHz, 112dB dynamic range, degree of distortion -93Db. According to running 120dB with no sonic boom noise signal to noise ratio (SNR) of the soft ascending or descending ramp and analog squelch.
2 PCM5102A integrated negative charge pump output, no need DC blocking capacitors;  2.1Vrms ground center output;The ability is very good to inhibit the out of band noise. Through the support low to 1K Ω load,PCM510xA can drive a plurality of parallel products. (that is, a plurality of power amplifier at the same time use)
3.The output port adopts gilded RCV two terminal and gold-plated 3.5mm Headset seat
4 use the isolated power supply design, make the raspberry pie power and DAC part ofindependent power supply isolation, and the beads were no mutual interference, get rid of the current sound.
5 the I2S interface for direct decoding digital to analog, non USB DAC interface, do not take up PI extended GPIO other.
6 to provide DAC power indicator light, easy to observe the DAC state.
7.Gold plating process on PCB plate ,arc line (high-end HIFI DAC using curved line),better guarantee the impedance of the signal continuity, reduce the signal reflection and refraction.
8.Reserve infrared receiver interface (can buy an infrared receiving head added).
