Eagle Tool US Fish Rod Set is used to install wires above ceilings, through walls, and under carpets. The 1/4-Inch diameter fish rods are flexible yet provide excellent rigidity for extended distance stand out. Connect individual sections end-to-end to create a variety of lengths. Set contains: Four 1/4-Inch Diameter x 4-Feet fish rods, 1 steel bullnose, and 1 hook accessory for attaching wires.

Although the fiberglass fish rod itself is non-metallic, its metallic tip and leader are conductive and could be grounded against conduit.

I had to pull #10-3 and #12-2 through my attic, from one side of the house (breaker box) all the way to the other side (new sub box) to power my shop. Vaulted ceilings, with very narrow trusses and fully insulated, I got most of the way through and ran out of sticks, a quick trip to the depot yielded another set with compatible threads, at that point I was happy to know it would work and happy to spend a little more towards that goal. With two more sticks, it pretty much just dropped the wires right where I needed them. Highly recommended tool for tough wire pulling tasks.
I am no professional when it comes to wiring or anything. These are just flexible enough and easy to work that it worked out. I got another set and they was so flimsy and small that I worked for a few hours and got nowhere. When I got these and seen how nice they looked I was super excited. I hate wires anywhere showing let alone if they are running thru a room to another. I had to run ethernet wires from the living room to my bedroom. I had it done in less then 20 minutes. So ladies try these out you will have it looking professional.
I didn't even know these existed. For decades I've been using the green windup metal fish tape thing trying to run cabling of all kinds. I'm embarrassed and grateful that I found this after so long.
